Getting Paid On CareFinder

Requesting payment

  1. Schedule a job as you normally would.  Make sure that you accept the offer from the parent to confirm it is scheduled. You can confirm the job is scheduled by looking at the status of your application. If it says “hired,” you are set.

  1. You will be given a prompt to request payment after the end of the scheduled sitting time. CareFinder charges a 10% platform fee + 10% sales tax for the platform fee.

There is a 3 hour window of time during which you can request payment after a sitting. Please make sure you request payment right away.

3. The parents will receive a notice that you requested payment. They can approve or decline. If they decline the payment amount, you can approve or decline their counter offer. If there are issues agreeing on payment amount, please let the CareFinder team know as soon as possible.

If the parent does nothing (clicks neither “yes” nor “no) their card will automatically be charged in 24 hours.

You can confirm the details of what you earned by looking at the MyEarnings section.

The money will be sent to your account the first and third Friday of every month. The money usually arrives early the following week. Once you are paid out the payment details will go into the MyPayout section.
