Introduction

Hello! I have been an au pair and babysitter for the last 7 years. I specialize in infants (0-2 years old) but I have experience in babysitting all ages.

Some of my hobbies include: piano, reading, drawing, and cycling.

My favorite things to do with children are: physical activities like running and dancing, listening to music together, reading books and playing board games.

I am very playful and love to make children laugh. I believe in making kids feel safe, heard, and important.

I speak native English, but can also converse in Japanese and Spanish. I am originally from Pennsylvania, USA but have lived in Kyoto for the last year. Looking forward to taking care of your children! <3

48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee
Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee
Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)

She is such a sweet and responsible babysitter. Our 5- and 8-year-olds had so much fun playing with her. We especially appreciated that she spoke English the entire time, creating a great immersive environment, while still being able to support the children in Japanese when needed. I would highly recommend her to any family!

小さいうちに少しでも英語に慣れさせたいと思い、幼稚園児と小2の男の子のシッターをお願いしました。
お兄ちゃんは、カードゲームや折り紙など色々な遊びが一緒にできてとても楽しかったようです。
遊びの中で子供が英単語を復唱できるように工夫してお話してくれました。
弟は少し離れた場所で見ていましたが、英語での会話をよく聞いていて単語をかなり覚えたようです。
二人ともまた一緒に遊びたい！と上機嫌でした。

Ivana is great!! She was punctual, personable, and great with my high energy 6 year old. I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter in her care.

Ivana babysat for us twice, and on the second sitting, took her to the zoo! I really recommend Ivana, she was great and my daughter loved her!!

Ivana was just amazing.
She arrived promptly and her communication was prompt and proactive prior to watching our children.
She watched 3, 2 year old girls. During our meet and greet, she took individual notes on each child to ensure that they each recieved their individual and special care and needs.
She sent updates throught the evening to put us parents as ease and was just all around amazing to work with. I wish we had more time Kyoto because our little ones adored her. Thank you Ivana!

Ivana has been excellent for all the sittings that she has done with our son, Jack. We had a really great zoom call with her the first time we met. On the first day we met, she was great in person, very lively, friendly and interested in getting to know Jack. She's come up with great ideas for outtings with Jack, tailored to his interests, ie Pokemon Center and the dog cafe, Ninja Museum. She has lots of energy and will play at the Kamo River as well. We are so grateful to have her hang out with Jack while we work.

She's also very responsible, thoughtful (sending pictures of their adventures) and engaging. We couldn't recommend a better caregiver.
