While I was in university I was doing my internship 3 days a week and 3 hours a day at a several kindergartens. During my 3 years internship in kindergartens I was responsible kids from age to 2 to 6. My duties were : spending play time and nap time with kids, singing songs with them, tutoring them in different languages, making them practice writing and drawing, DIY activities, toilet training, taking them to the park and many more!
In additional to my internship I took care of children since I was 8. I have a baby sister who is 15 years younger than me so I raised her like a mother since my parents had to work and also on weekends I was taking care of my 2 cousins who are toddlers.

Our 3-year old son quickly took to Asli within a few minutes of meeting her and they were inseparable for the six days we had Asli helping us. We received updates and photos each day and she captured some special moments that we wouldn’t have been able to do ourselves.

She did an amazing job taking care of 5 month old and 2 other boys when we were out exploring. She is very patient, pleasant and hard working. I will rehire her for sure if I revisit Kyoto or Osaka area.
Our 4-year-old son says she was fun and he liked playing hide and seek with her. She was very nice and read stories and played games with him. She arrived on time and asked all the important questions about bedtime, bath, meal, and toilet needs. Communication was clear. When we returned she let us know what he ate and that he was upset/emotional at bedtime (missing mom and dad) but she was able to console him and calm him down in a few minutes. He slept well and woke up happy. We recommend her!

She was great, and very much a baby whisperer. She also understood wake windows and total wake time calculations for my 15 month old toddler and was able to tuck him to bed on time. :)
We were visiting Kyoto from the US and Asli (Alisa) babysat our 18 month old son for the evening. She did a wonderful job with him, immediately engaging him with toys when she arrived and eventually put him to bed. She was very quick to respond while messaging ahead of time. We were a bit nervous using CareFinder and a sitter in a new country, but it was very smooth and would recommend Asli to anyone.

Alyssa was very loving, friendly and protective of the kids. She knows how to bring up topics to interest young kids and keep them entertained. We’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a babysitter! Oh and she speaks fluent English in case that’s a concern.

Asli (goes by Alyssa) was a wonderful babysitter for our two boys (5 months old and 3 1/2 years old) for two date nights out during our family vacation to Kyoto. She was an excellent communicator, was confident and punctual, and she immediately jumped into her role as babysitter when she arrived at our place. We would highly recommend Alyssa for any babysitting needs in the Kyoto area!

Asli was wonderful with our 2 young daughters (aged 2 and 4). They instantly warmed to her and were excited to play with her for the evening. We can’t wait to have to Asli back again, we would highly recommend her to any family!

2歳になったばかりの娘を2時間みてもらいました。始めは緊張したようでしたが、優しく誘いかけてくれ、30分ほどで慣れてからは2人で楽しく遊んでいました。
ダメなことはきちんとダメと言ってくれたり、しっかり英語教育をしようという意図（身の回りの単語を何度も繰り返して教えてくれました）を感じるシッティングだったりと親としては大変満足しました。彼女が帰った後、娘は寂しそうにしており、何度も「楽しかったね」と言っていました。
ぜひ毎月来てもらいたいです。

Asli was absolutely wonderful. We are on a family trip in Osaka and needed a little adult time away from the kids. Asli arrived early and went above and beyond. Our children really enjoyed her as well. She is very kind and capable. You will be in good hands! Highly recommended.

Asli was perfect. She helped us out and went out of her way when we needed a babysitter while staying on Osaka. As everyone else has said on this website, she was very nice and personable, and we felt extremely comfortable with her.
