1. Minato-ku World Festival 2019

Date: ~3/24

Location: Participating Embassies in Minato-ku

Tokyo's Minato ward is not only home to many foreign residents but over half the embassies in Japan, making it one of the most culturally diverse place in the country. To celebrate this culturally diverse city, many embassies have opened their doors from January 16th to March 24th 2019 exclusively for those participating in the Embassy Stamp Rally. Pick up a special passport to start your journey!

 

2. Furusato Matsuri Tokyo

Date: ~1/20 10am-9pm (1/20 until 6pm)

Location: Tokyo Dome

A festival of all festivals, at the Furasato Matsuri, you get a chance of enjoying all kind of regional festivals from all over Japan. Try all the different kinds of festivals foods they serve in different regions across Japan while observing traditional dances. Prefectorial and municipal characters from all over Japan will also be gathering to meet and greet kids!

 

3. Earth Garden Winter 2019

Date: 1/19-20 Sat-Sun 10am-4pm

Location: Yoyogi Park

Earth Garden is a community festival that is held every season. With live music and talks held on the outdoor stage, a market full of organic and ecological goods and delicious food stalls, the festival invites you to think about the future of our current lifestyles. To invite families with small children, the event has even prepared a breastfeeding room and diaper changing corner!
