I have 2 years of hands-on babysitting experience, caring for children of various ages, from toddlers to early school age (2 years -12 years) . I am originally from Lesotho and I’m currently based in Japan. I am very fluent in English and speak a little bit of Japanese.

I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for kids to grow and express themselves. I’m a naturally warm and patient person, and I understand how important it is for parents to trust that their children are in good hands. Alongside my babysitting experience, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, cultural sensitivity, and a calm approach to handling routines, playtime, and even the occasional tantrum. I would be honored to support your family and take great care of your little ones.

I love reading novels, and playing word games that build vocabulary such as Word Treasure Hunt, Scribble and word match. Creativity is a big part of who I am. I enjoy coloring books, designing outfits through drawing, and coming up with imaginative games. When babysitting, I love engaging with children in arts and crafts, building Lego creations, and storytelling sessions that spark their imagination. CANCELLATION POLICY (all timing is calculated based on the start time of the scheduled sitting)
48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee
Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee
Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)

Hi, my name is Chelsea and I'm from Australia. I am currently living in Japan on a Working Holiday Visa, while surfing and experiencing the local culture.

Over the course of my life, I have had about 10 years or so worth of babysitting experience, this has included caring for my own family members (nieces and nephews), neighbours kids/kids in my community, as well as family friend's children. All of them ranging from 2-14 years old.

During this time, I plan creative activities, prepare their meals, and manage bedtime routines. I easily develop strong communication and problem-solving skills with children and I prioritize safety at all times.
Parents have often given me positive feedback about my ability to connect with the kids and handle various situations. I’m confident I can bring that same dedication and care to any role. 🙂

My interests/hobbies include bushwalking, surfing, swimming, reading, baking, camping, creative arts and playing board games, all of which I enjoy sharing with children!!
