📍 Current Availability (October 2026)
I’m spending the month of October in Kyoto, so I’m currently unavailable for babysitting requests in Tokyo until November. However, I’d love to accept babysitting and hotel-sitting requests in Kyoto and the surrounding areas during October! 😊
From November onwards, I’ll be back in Tokyo. Please note that my schedule currently varies quite a lot from week to week, so I’m best suited to one-off, occasional, or flexible bookings rather than fixed weekly/long-term arrangements. I have professional babysitting experience caring for toddlers through to school-age children. My experience includes daytime care, play and activities, English support through everyday communication and homework, meal preparation, bath time, bedtime routines, and hotel sitting. I have also cared for children with a range of needs, including children on the autism spectrum, and I am comfortable adapting to each child’s age, personality, routine, and family preferences.
I have also supported families during outings and day trips around Tokyo, including visits to Disneyland, zoos, parks, restaurants, and other attractions. I am comfortable managing children in busy public environments, helping with transportation and mealtimes, keeping them engaged and safe, and providing additional support so parents can enjoy the outing more comfortably.
In addition, I have travel nanny experience both within Japan and abroad. I have travelled around Japan with families as a travel nanny, supporting children throughout different parts of the trip, and I have also accompanied a family to the United States for several weeks and provided childcare support during their stay.
I also have experience supporting families with newborn care, including feeding support, bottle preparation, diaper changes and settling which has made me comfortable assisting with newborn and infant care.

I adjust my style depending on each child’s personality. I can be calm and gentle when reassurance is needed, but also energetic and playful when they want someone to have fun with. I believe it’s so important for children to feel heard and understood, and by listening carefully and responding with patience, I can help them build confidence and feel safe expressing themselves. I’m confident following family routines and communicating clearly with parents.

I am certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid through the National CPR Foundation, including Adult, Child and Infant CPR, choking response, AED use, injury care, and universal precautions.

I believe children learn English best through natural, everyday conversation. I provide a relaxed English-speaking environment where children can listen, speak, and build confidence comfortably. Being able to speak Japanese allows me to support children who may feel shy or unsure, helping them to feel at ease. I’m also happy to support with English-related homework when needed.

I have always been very active through various sports including boxing, netball and swimming, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. I also enjoy cooking and baking for my family, as well as reading and playing the piano. I love animals and have previously volunteered with a pet rescue organisation. I enjoy travelling and challenging myself with new experiences, which has helped me become open-minded and adaptable. These interests help me bring a calm, positive, and engaging energy into childcare.

Cancellations made based on the scheduled start time:
•48 hours or more before the scheduled start time: No cancellation fee
•Between 48 and 24 hours before the scheduled start time: 50% of the sitting fee
•Within 24 hours of the scheduled start time: 100% of the sitting fee
