Hello! I'm Chiaki, a certified midwife, registered nurse and public health nurse, working as a babysitter in Tokyo.

I spent nine years on maternity wards in Japan and have cared for more than 1,500 mothers and babies. I also lived in Washington, D.C. for a year as a live-in babysitter for newborns and infants, so I am used to how international families live at home.

Newborns to around six months are my specialty: breast and bottle feeding, bathing, settling a baby to sleep, and making space for you to actually rest. While I am with your baby, please feel free to ask me the small things too, such as "Is my baby feeding enough?" or "He won't sleep for long at night." As a midwife I can answer them on the spot.

About my English: I am at a basic conversational level, and I use translation tools for anything detailed. I already care for English-speaking families, and some of them book me again.

I am available on weekdays from 7:00 to 16:00 in Tokyo, and early starts are fine. Homes with dogs or cats are very welcome. Please feel free to contact me.

・Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee
・Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)

助産師・看護師・保健師の資格を持つベビーシッターです。産科病棟で9年、1,500組以上のお母さんと赤ちゃんに関わってきました。アメリカ・ワシントンDCで1年間、ホームステイをしながら新生児〜乳児のベビーシッターをしていた経験があり、海外のご家庭での過ごし方にも慣れています。

得意なのは新生児から生後6か月ごろまで。授乳・ミルク・沐浴・寝かしつけ、そしてお母さんが休める時間をつくることです。お預かりの間に「授乳はこれで合ってる？」「夜まとまって寝ない」といった小さな相談にも、助産師としてその場でアドバイスできます。

英語は日常会話の基礎レベルです。詳細部分はAIや翻訳アプリを使ってやり取りしています。英語でのご依頼も受けていて、リピートしてくださるご家庭もあります。

平日7:00〜16:00、東京都内に伺います。早朝からでも大丈夫です。犬や猫のいるご家庭もどうぞ。どうぞお気軽にご相談ください。
