Summer camp offers a great opportunity for kids to make friends and socialize, and it also is a great way to develop new skills and gain a global perspective.
Here are some summer camp programs for 2025:
Ignite Your Child’s Creativity This Summer with Elev8! (Tokyo)
Evergreen Outdoor Center Summer Camp (Nagano Prefecture)
Evergreen has been providing educational programs through outdoor activities in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture for over 15 years, and this year they will be holding 5-day and 10-day English camps. The target age is 7 years old and above.
Eton House International School (Nagano Prefecture)
The day camp in Karuizawa held by Eaton House International School is for children aged 4 to 12 years old. There is also a summer program at the Karuizawa school for children aged 3 to 5 years old, so siblings can participate in this. There is also an overnight camp for children aged 8 years old and above.
Tokyo Coding Club Code Quest Camp (Gunma, Tokyo)
The Code Quest camp hosted by Tokyo Coding Club is a unique summer camp where you can enjoy outdoor activities while learning about technology in English. There is a day camp in Tokyo for ages 5 and up, and an overnight camp in Gunma for ages 6 and up.
English Adventure English Summer Camp (Niigata)
This camp is held on a vast site in Niigata Prefecture that was formerly used as a ski resort, and is open to children from the first grade of elementary school and above, with programs tailored to the child's English level.
FC Nomade Summer Soccer Camp (Shizuoka)
FC NOMADE, an international football academy in Tokyo, is hosting an English soccer overnight camp in Shimoda, Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Participants are elementary school students (ages 6 and over), and support is available in Japanese and French.
Aoba Summer School Program (Tokyo)
The English summer program held by Aoba Japan International School offers a variety of content, including inquiry-based learning, experiential learning, and music sessions. Ages 4 and over are targeted.
Kspace International School & Kindergarten (Tokyo)
A summer school will be held for children aged 14 months to 9 years old, with the theme of "Fantastic Trips & Tales." This summer school aims to develop children's imagination and curiosity by providing hands-on learning about a variety of topics, including the earth, the universe, history, and the future, while traveling through real and imaginary worlds.
OYIS Intensive Summer Program (Osaka)
The Osaka YMCA International School's one-day summer intensive program is for children from kindergarten to sixth grade, and applications will open on June 1st.
