Hi! My name is Mariam, I’m 28 years old and originally from Spain. I currently live in Japan on a Working Holiday visa. I speak Spanish, English, Italian, and a little Japanese.

I have experience working with children of different ages in various settings. I’ve worked as a babysitter, a summer camp “coach”, a private tutor, and I’m also a ski instructor mainly teaching kids.

I really enjoy spending time with kids, I usually like to do activities with them depending on the kid and their own interests. Such as arts and crafts, drawing, playing with LEGO, reading stories, outdoor games, and creative play. I love helping children learn new things while having fun, but I also like to adapt to each family’s needs.

I’m very easygoing, fun, friendly, responsible, and energetic.

In my free time, I enjoy sports, especially hiking, cycling, swimming and skiing, as well as creative activities and being outdoors.

48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee
Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee
Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)

¡Hola! Soy Mariam, tengo 28 años y soy de España. Actualmente vivo en Japón con una visa Working Holiday.

Tengo experiencia trabajando con niños de diferentes edades. He trabajado como niñera, monitora de campamentos, profesora particular y también soy profesora de esquí para niños.

Me encanta pasar tiempo con niños y suelo hacer actividades dependiendo de los gustos de cada niño y adaptándome a las necesidades o intereses de la familia. Por ejemplo, actividades como manualidades, dibujar, jugar con LEGO, leer cuentos, juegos al aire libre y actividades creativas. Disfruto ayudándoles a aprender mientras se divierten y a mí me gusta ser creativa así que me divierto mucho acompañándoles en el proceso.

Soy muy cercana y responsable, me considero divertida también y Me adapto fácilmente a las necesidades de cada familia.

Además, me gustan mucho los deportes como el senderismo, ciclismo, la natación y el esquí, y las actividades al aire libre.

経験内容

I have several years of experience caring for children between the ages of 3 and 12 in different settings. I’ve been working as a ski instructor for kids during the winter seasons, most recently in Japan, where I was responsible for teaching and managing groups of children while making sure they felt safe and had fun.

I’ve also been working as a babysitter since I was 16, taking care of children on a regular but flexible basis. In addition, I have experience as a private tutor, supporting children with their learning in a patient and encouraging way.

I spent a month working at a summer camp, where I organized games, outdoor activities, and group dynamics, and I’ve also worked as an entertainer at children’s birthday parties, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere through games and activities.

Overall, these experiences have taught me how to easily connect with children, adapt to different personalities, and create a positive, engaging, and safe environment where they can enjoy themselves and feel comfortable.
