Hi! My name is Hyunseo, and I am a graduate student at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. Originally from South Korea, I completed my Bachelor's degree in the United States in May 2024. I am bilingual in English and Korean.
My field of study is public health, with a focus on maternal and child health. I have a passion for working with children and enjoy spending time with them! I bring three years of experience caring for children aged 3 to 12.
My first experience was in 2020 in South Korea, where I worked as a caregiver for three siblings on weekends. We primarily communicated in English, and I also tutored them in math and other subjects. I continued this role for one year until I left to study abroad in the U.S.
My love for working with children in Korea motivated me to seek similar opportunities in the U.S. Fortunately, I found a position at a daycare center, where I worked for two years. Now, I’m excited to continue my journey here in Japan!
I love engaging in creative activities with kids, such as drawing, painting, and making crafts. Some of my favorite activities with kids include making bracelets and decorating cakes or cookies together. I like to read them books or read together as well! I enjoy outdoor activities with kids, like going to a park for a picnic. I have been to amusement park with children, which all of us had so much fun! In addition to working with children, I have a variety of hobbies I enjoy in my free time. I love spending time outdoors, exploring nature, hiking, and going to the beach. My favorite beach is Laguna Beach in Southern California. Additionally, I enjoy indoor climbing, which helps me stay active and adventurous!

저는 현재 대학원에서 공중 보건을 전공하고 있으며, 모자 건강에 대한 연구에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 저는 아이들과 함께 일하는 것에 대한 열정을 가지고 있으며 그들과 함께 시간을 보내는 것을 즐깁니다! 저는 3~12세 어린이를 돌보는 데 3년의 경험이 있습니다.
저는 2020년 한국에서 주말마다 세 남매의 베이비시터로 일한 경험이 있습니다. 매주 토요일, 일요일 아침 8시부터 오후 5시까지 아이들을 돌보았습니다. 저희는 주로 영어로 의사소통을 했고, 저는 수학과 한국어와 같은 다른 과목도 가르쳤습니다. 아이들과 함께 밥을 먹고 함께 치우며, 책도 읽어주고 다양한 창의 활동도 하였습니다. 미국 유학을 떠나기 전까지 1년 동안 이 일을 지속하였습니다.
아이들과 함께 일하는 것이 즐거웠던 추억으로 남아, 미국에서도 비슷한 기회를 찾고자 노력했습니다. 다행히 저는 2년 동안 일했던 어린이집에서 일자리를 찾았습니다.주말마다 아이들이 다양한 활동을 할 수 있도록 도와주고, 아이들의 안전을 책임지는 어시스턴트 선생님의 역할을 하였습니다. 이제 저는 여기 일본에서 베이비시터 일을 계속하게 되어 기쁩니다!
