Hello! My name is Jumana and I am half Japanese and half Middle Eastern. I am currently a student here in Tokyo. I speak English, Japanese and Arabic, and my hobbies include art, music and knitting. I volunteered at a day care center (ages 3-6) at my high school for around 1 year. During then, The students and I mostly would spend our time in the playground where we mostly did hands on activities such as drawing, paining, and playing with toys. I recently volunteered for a camping trip that was three days long. I worked with 13 students ages 9-14 where our aim was to learn survival techniques. I was asked to focus on 4 students as they were in my team. We went grocery shopping together, chopped and collected woods, and cooked dinner! I love working with children! I am very enthusiastic, which I believe will help with babysitting. I love to do physical and hands-on activities with children. During high school, I did a lot of artistic activities with children that included drawing and playing the piano. As I am currently a student, the nearest station to my university is Yotsuya station, which is a station I can commute from aside from my home station. I have a nose piercing that I can take on and off, I also have a lip piercing.

Throughout my childhood,I would occasionally babysit my younger siblings and younger cousin. These mostly included watching over them by ensuring they had their meals. they’re brushed their teeth and other routines my mom and aunts have told me. In high school, I did after-school care for kindergarten students about 2-3 times a week. The after school care gave me a lot of experiences with childcare. I was frequently asked to go the playground with them and do their homework while also giving them a fun time. We would mostly do artistic actives such as drawing and music! I have recently joined a camping trip of 13 students. I volunteered as a staff member to help out. The main trip was divided and each staff member were uncharged of 4 students. With my team members, we fulfilled our tasks as campers! This camping trip was the most enjoyable experience I have had working with students. Going to the country side of Chiba with students and reconnecting with nature with them was a very rewarding experience and I would love to do similair activities in the future. I cam back from a working holiday in Paris where I was babysitting two girls for the whole year, during this time i taught them english, picked them up from school, helped with english homework, bathed them, and had dinner together. From this experience I learnt the value of patience and communication.
