はじめまして、かれんと申します！

アメリカで生まれ育ったため、英語が母語です。また、子どもの頃から日本によく来ていたので、日本語も話すことができます。現在は東京の大学に通っており、大学の体育会部活に所属しています。

アメリカでは、4歳から13歳までのお子さまのベビーシッターや、日本語補習校でのボランティア経験があります。英語や日本語の勉強のお手伝いをしたり、一緒に遊んだり、料理や掃除をしたり、楽しく過ごせるような活動を考えたりしていました。

遊びや会話、日常生活を通して、お子さまが英語と日本語に自信を持てるよう、楽しくサポートしたいと思っています。

また、動物も大好きです。実家では犬を2匹飼っており、猫のお世話や犬のお散歩を2年間していた経験もあります。ペットのいるご家庭でも安心してお任せいただければと思います。

趣味は読書、編み物、裁縫、かぎ針編み、テニス、料理、お菓子作りです。テニスは11年以上続けており、初心者のお子さまへの指導もできます。また、子どもの頃に10年間ピアノを習っていたので、簡単なピアノのレッスンもお手伝いできます。

大学や部活動の予定によってお預かりできる日時が変わる場合がありますが、お気軽にご連絡ください。

シッティング開始48時間前～24時間前：シッティング料金の**50%**をキャンセル料として申し受けます。
シッティング開始24時間以内：シッティング料金の**100%**をキャンセル料として申し受けます。また、すでに現地へ向かっている場合は、交通費もあわせてご請求させていただきます。

Hello, my name is Karen!
I was born and raised in The United States so I speak native English, but I also can speak fluent Japanese as I visited Japan often in my childhood. I am currently attending university in Tokyo, and am part of my school’s sports team.

I have experience in The United States caring for children aged 4-13, including babysitting and volunteering at a Japanese weekend school. I would often help kids out with their schoolwork (both in English and Japanese), cook, clean, play and come up with fun and creative activities together! I enjoy helping children build their confidence in both languages through play, conversation and everyday activities.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, knitting, sewing, crocheting, tennis, cooking and baking. I enjoy being active as I have played tennis for 11+ years, and can teach beginners or coach kids! I also grew up playing piano for 10 years during my childhood, so I can help teach piano to children.

My babysitting availability may depend on my university or sports team schedule, but please feel free to reach out anytime. Thank you!

※All cancellation deadlines are calculated based on the scheduled start time of the sitting.

48 hours or more before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee.
Between 48 and 24 hours before the scheduled sitting: A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the sitting fee will apply.
Less than 24 hours before the scheduled sitting: A cancellation fee equal to 100% of the sitting fee will apply. If I have already departed for the sitting, any applicable transportation costs will also be charged.
