My name is Azzahra. I am originally from Indonesia and have been living in Japan for almost four years. I am currently a student at a Japanese language school (Nihongo Gakkou) in Tokyo, and I am bilingual in English and Japanese. Before that, I pursued my studies at a university in Beppu. During my time there, I gained various experiences in English education, including teaching English to students in Beppu and working as a Teaching Assistant for an English education class.
I come from a relatively large family on my mother’s side. Growing up, my mother often taught me how to take care of my nieces and nephews, as my family loves having children around the house. I enjoy spending time with children, playing with them, teaching them basic English, giving them tours of the house to introduce them to my pets, and caring for them with plenty of affection and attention.
Additionally, my sister and I enjoy organizing activities for our nieces and nephews, such as outdoor games and mini-adventures at home. We try to keep them active, engaged, and productive without relying on gadgets all the time.
I always strive to understand each child’s individual needs and interests while making sure that the activities I plan are safe, enjoyable, and appropriate for their age. I believe that children learn and grow best when they feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged to explore their surroundings.

経験内容
My experience includes babysitting my nieces and nephews, who are between 3 and 7 years old. When taking care of them, I prepare age-appropriate meals, help them get ready for bed, play with them, and read both English and Indonesian books with them. Since most of their mothers are busy, the children often enjoy staying at my house for several hours and ask my sister and me to spend time with them and keep them company.
Before graduating from university, I also volunteered in various English teaching activities for Japanese junior high school students aged 12 to 15. I was often responsible for organizing and managing the activities to make them fun and engaging. I always tried to create a comfortable environment where the students could enjoy learning English and feel motivated to participate.
