Hello! I’m Caroline! I have a French diploma as an early childhood educator. I’ve worked in Canada for 5 years in a public daycare center, taking care of children between the age of 0 to 5 years old. I was especially focusing on children between 4 and 18 months old. I also have some experiences with children between 5 and 10 years old.
I speak French (mother tongue), English (mostly fluent) and a little bit Japanese (N4 level). I like to go out and take a walk in parks, to bake cookies, cakes or pancakes, and to read books!
I’m looking forward for some opportunities to take care of children!
CANCELLATION POLICY (all timing is calculated based on the start time of the scheduled sitting) 48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)
I worked in a daycare in Canada for 5 years with children from 6 months to 5 years old but I was specifically with a group of ten toddlers (from 12 to 18 months old) with my colleague. We went outside almost everyday, did activities to experience new sensations (painting, playing with textures, lights, sand, gardening, etc) and I was also in a posture of observation so I could know what the children will need to grow.
I also worked in France in a daycare, I was more polyvalent and worked with all the ages from 3 months to 3 years old. I was also working with the daycare director to establish the schedule of activities of the establishment.
I also did some babysitting now and then since I graduate from childcare worker school: help with homework, routine evenings, Wednesday afternoons, holidays, etc when parents needed me.
