Hello! My name is Elena. I am a reliable and compassionate childcare provider originally from Italy. Before moving to Japan, I lived, studied, and worked in the UK for six years, which allowed me to become fully fluent in English.
I have over 5 years of experience working with children aged 6 and older in diverse educational and home settings. Specifically, my background includes working as a full-time Au Pair in England, supporting teachers in a Montessori nursery and providing 1-on-1 private tutoring for students with special educational needs (SEN/SpLD). I have also worked as an educator in an after-school play centre and coordinated creative activities at a community youth centre.
As an artist and illustrator, my childcare philosophy revolves around creativity and emotional support. My professional training in Illustration and Counselling has equipped me with strong active listening skills, allowing me to connect deeply with children and support their emotional and creative development. I am fully committed to providing a safe, and nurturing environment where children can have fun.
Due to my long-term experience in the UK, I am also happy to support your children with their English, fostering language skills through natural conversation and fun activities. I would be happy to introduce a little of Italian too. I am currently an intensive Japanese language student in Shin-Okubo during the mornings, improving my skills daily.
I am available from 2:00/2:30 PM onwards on weekdays (with some flexibility), or anytime during weekends.

CANCELLATION POLICY: (all timing is calculated based on the start time of the scheduled sitting) - 48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee - Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee - Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+transportation cost if on the way)
Sono una babysitter italiana affidabile e premurosa. Prima di trasferirmi in Giappone, ho vissuto, studiato e lavorato nel Regno Unito per sei anni, imparando così l'inglese fluentemente.
Ho oltre 5 anni di esperienza con bambini dai 6 anni in su, in diversi contesti educativi e familiari. Nello specifico, ho lavorato come Au Pair a tempo pieno in Inghilterra, ho supportato gli insegnanti in un asilo Montessori e ho fornito lezioni private individuali a studenti con bisogni educativi speciali (BES/DSA). Ho anche lavorato come educatrice in un doposcuola e ho coordinato attività creative presso un centro giovanile.
Essendo un'artista e un'illustratrice, mi baso molto sulla creatività e sul supporto emotivo. Grazie alla mia esperienza nel Regno Unito, sono molto disposta a supportare i vostri figli nell'apprendimento dell'inglese, favorendo lo sviluppo delle competenze linguistiche attraverso conversazioni naturali e attività divertenti. Naturalmente sono felice anche di parlare in italiano, se richiesto.
Attualmente frequento durante la mattina un corso intensivo di lingua giapponese a Shin-Okubo e miglioro le mie competenze quotidianamente.
Sono disponibile dalle 14:00/14:30 in poi nei giorni feriali (con una certa flessibilità), oppure in qualsiasi momento durante il fine settimana.
