Childcare Experience

Family and Community Childcare (Children aged 6 months – 10 years)
Over several years, I have actively cared for children within my family and community. As the oldest female child in a Ghanaian extended family system, I regularly assisted in caring for younger siblings, cousins, and relatives. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing, supervising playtime, preparing children for school, helping with homework, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Infant and Toddler Care (Children aged 6 months – 3 years)
For approximately 2 years, I provided regular care for infants and toddlers aged between 6 months and 3 years old. During this time, I supported feeding routines, diaper changes, play activities, nap schedules, and general supervision while creating a safe and nurturing environment.

English Teaching Experience – Vietnam (Children aged 7–12 years)
During my winter vacation in Vietnam, I worked with elementary school students as an English teacher. I taught beginner-level English lessons, encouraged classroom participation, and supported students' language development through interactive learning activities and communication exercises.

Volunteer Teaching Assistant – Fuchu Elementary School, Japan
As a volunteer teaching assistant, I supported classroom activities and assisted teachers in creating a positive learning environment for elementary school students. This experience strengthened my communication skills and my ability to engage with children from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Student Volunteer and Educational Support – Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS)
Through volunteer and educational activities at university, I have supported children's learning and development while promoting cultural exchange and communication. These experiences have helped me develop patience, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively with young learners.
