Born and raised in America, I have over 5 years of experience babysitting children and 4 years of experience working as a nursery teacher in America! I speak English, basic Spanish, and am currently studying Japanese.

I have a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies, concentrating in child development from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. After graduating, I worked at their research-based nursery school for four years as a supervising teacher in a toddler room, though I have experience with children ranging from 1-5 years old. I was a babysitter during those four years and continued babysitting while getting my master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other languages.

I moved to Japan in 2021 and worked as an ALT in elementary/JR high schools for four and a half years before moving to Tokyo in 2026 to continue working as an English nursery teacher.

I enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities while babysitting. Reading, puzzles, arts and crafts, and pretend play are just a few indoor activities I engage children with, while visits to the park, children's museums, and walks are examples of fun outdoor activities. I also love doing seasonal activities when possible, such as themed crafts or visits to seasonal exhibitions in the area.

During my free time, I enjoy watching movies (especially Disney and similar genres) and so I am familiar with quite a few that children like. Sing-alongs and pretend play are common activities I do together with children. I also enjoy baking and crafts.

48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee
Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee
Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)
