イギリス・ウェールズ出身で、複数の言語を話す教育者です。これまで約20年間、さまざまな形で子どもたちと関わってきました。そのうち15年以上は、教育・保育の分野で経験を積んでいます。
日本には12年間住んでおり、ここ8年間は主に幼児教育に携わっています。
これまで日本のインターナショナルスクールやバイリンガルスクールでの勤務、世界各国で幅広い年齢の方への外国語としての英語指導、そしてイギリスと日本の両方で、ご家庭のベビーシッター・チャイルドケアサポートを行ってきました。
幼児教育に携わる中で、応急手当や自然災害などの緊急時対応を含む、さまざまな研修も受けています。
大学では、イギリスの大学で医用工学（Medical Engineering）と国際経営学（International Business Management）を学び、現在はアメリカの教育機関で教育学の修士課程（Master’s degree in Education）を履修しています。
💴 料金について
料金は、ご家族のご希望やお子さまの人数、必要なサポート内容、活動内容などによって異なる場合があります。
ご希望やご要望をお聞かせいただけましたら、それぞれのご家庭に合った料金をご案内いたしますので、お気軽にご相談ください。
‼️ 追加料金（該当する場合）
・お子さまの追加：1名につき＋500円
・ご利用開始時間の24時間以内にスケジュール変更をご希望の場合：＋500円
・ご予約時間を超えて延長となる場合：30分単位で追加料金
・早朝・深夜のご利用：＋500円（午前8時前／午後10時以降）
・交通費：実費を別途頂戴いたします
❌ キャンセルポリシー
※キャンセルの時間は、ご予約いただいたシッティング開始時間を基準とします。
・48時間以上前：キャンセル料なし
・48時間前～24時間前：ご利用料金の50％
・24時間以内：ご利用料金の100％
（すでに移動を開始している場合は、交通費も別途頂戴いたします）
🎨 趣味・好きなこと
昔から、絵を描くこと、書道、音楽、歌、ダンス、水泳、アート・クラフト、ボランティアなど、創造的で実際に手を動かして楽しめる活動が好きです。
そのほかにも、料理、読書、写真、科学、文学、舞台芸術、さまざまな文化や言語に触れることも好きで、特に旅行を通して異なる文化や言語を知ることを楽しんでいます。
こうした私自身の興味や経験も、子どもたちとの遊びや活動に自然に取り入れています。
子どもたちが「やってみたい！」と思ったことを大切にしながら、遊びや会話を通して、自由に探究したり、創造したり、質問したりできる時間を作ることを心がけています。
👩🏫 私の保育・教育について
ご家庭それぞれのご希望やお子さまの個性に合わせて、温かく質の高いチャイルドケアを提供することを大切にしています。
また、プライバシーや個人情報への配慮を特に必要とされるご家庭のサポート経験もあります。
教育者として、IB（国際バカロレア）のPYP（初等教育プログラム）の考え方を取り入れ、子ども自身の興味や疑問を大切にした「探究型・子ども主体」の学びを意識しています。
また、レッジョ・エミリア教育やモンテッソーリ教育の考え方にも影響を受けており、子どもの自主性、好奇心、創造性、そして一人ひとりの自然な成長を大切にしています。
こうした考え方は、学校での教育だけでなく、ご家庭でのチャイルドケアにも取り入れています。

📝 その他
・私の主な専門分野は、チャイルドケアと教育です。ご希望があれば、シッティング中のお子さまの様子や過ごした時間について、できる限り詳しくお伝えし、ご家族にも安心していただけるよう心がけています。
食事、お風呂、寝かしつけ、トイレのサポート、お子さまが使用した物の片付けなど、子どもに関わることは喜んでお手伝いいたします。ただし、一般的な家事や、お子さまに直接関係のない掃除・家事などは対応しておりません。
・ペットのいるご家庭でも対応可能です。ただ、最近アレルギーが出るようになったため、事前にお知らせいただけますと幸いです。必要に応じて、あらかじめ薬を準備して対応いたします。

My name is Adi 😊
I am a multilingual educator from Wales, U.K., with a multicultural background and nearly 20 years of experience working with children, including over 15 years in education and childcare.
I have been living in Japan for 12 years, and for the past eight years, I have specialised in early childhood education working with young children.
My professional experience includes teaching at international and bilingual schools in Japan, teaching English as a foreign language to students of various ages around the world, and providing childcare support for families in both the U.K. and Japan.
As part of my work with young children, I have attended various professional trainings, including first aid and emergency preparedness training for natural disasters.
Academically, I have studied Medical Engineering and International Business Management at accredited British universities, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Education at an American institution.
💴 Regarding Fees:
My rates may vary depending on each family’s needs, the number of children, the required level of support, and the nature of the activities requested. Please feel free to discuss your requirements with me, and I will be happy to provide a suitable rate.
‼️ Additional Fees (When Applicable)
* Additional child: +¥500 per additional child
* Schedule changes requested within 24 hours of the sitting: +¥500
* Sessions extending beyond the booked end time: charged in 30-minute increments
* Early morning/late-night bookings: +¥500 (before 8:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m.)
* Transportation: charged separately at the actual fare
❌ Cancellation Policy
(All timings are calculated based on the scheduled start time of the sitting.)
* 48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee
* Between 48–24 hours before the sitting: 50% of the sitting fee
* Within 24 hours of the sitting: 100% of the sitting fee (+ transportation costs if I am already on my way)
🎨 My Interests
I have always enjoyed creative and hands-on activities, including drawing, calligraphy, music, singing, dancing, swimming, arts and crafts, and volunteering. I also enjoy cooking, reading, photography, science, literature, performing arts, and exploring different cultures and languages, especially through travel.
Many of these interests naturally become part of the activities and experiences I create for children. I love encouraging children to explore, create, ask questions, and develop confidence through meaningful play and interaction.
👩🏫 My Approach
My goal is to provide warm, high-quality childcare that is tailored to each family’s individual needs. I also have experience supporting families who prefer a higher level of privacy and discretion.
As an educator, I incorporate principles from the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), focusing on inquiry-based and child-led learning. I am also inspired by Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, which value children’s independence, curiosity, creativity, and natural development.
These approaches are reflected not only in my teaching but also in the childcare experiences I provide for families.

* My main focus is childcare and education and I am more than happy to provide detailed information about the time I have spent with the children I care for to keep the families informed and reassured.
* I am happy to assist with all child-related needs, including meals, bath time, bedtime routines, bathroom assistance, and tidying up after the children. However, I do not provide general household cleaning or chores unrelated to childcare.
* I am comfortable working in homes with pets. However, please let me know in advance, as I have recently developed allergies and may need to prepare medication beforehand.
