Hello, I am Jasmine
I am an international student who grew up in Ghana and is the second girl of three children. English is the official language in Ghana, so I am very fluent in English. I relocated to Tokyo recently (October 2024) as a graduate student. I have three years of experience babysitting children between 6 months and 8 years.
With my experience caring for kids, I started babysitting my kid-bro, who I'm 9 years older than when he was 6 months old. Back in Ghana, our family friend regularly brings her kids around for me to take care of them when she's very busy. I love children and enjoy playing and caring for them, especially babies. My personal interests and hobbies include singing, listening to music, enjoying nature, baking, and crocheting.
I love teaching kids and playing fun games like hide and seek, lego building bricks, outdoor games in the park, puzzles, and paper crafts. Babies are adorable, they bring me joy and can be incredibly fascinating. I am excited to begin babysitting in Japan.

CANCELLATION POLICY (all timing is calculated based on the start time of the scheduled
sitting)
48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee
Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee
Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)

経験内容

I have three years of experience in babysitting children between 6 months and 7 years. My babysitting experience started with my younger brother who I took care of when he was 6 months of age before he attended daycare or nursery.
Also, I assisted my mom in taking care of Sunday school kids, who had their parents bringing them home after children's service. These kids were usually between the ages of 1 to 8 years. Before moving to Japan, I frequently babysat our family friend's children, who are 2 and 7 years old, respectively, when she got very busy.
During this experience, my responsibilities included changing diapers, preparing baby food such as formula or solid food, feeding the children, dressing them into their pyjamas and getting them ready for bed.

She looked after my 1-year-old and 3-year-old daughters. She played with them using toys, read them books, and kept them entertained with different activities. My daughters were very happy. We would love to ask for her help again.

We had a great experience with her. One of our two children cried a lot at first, while the other warmed up right away and stayed close to her. She was very kind and patient with the one who was crying, and he calmed down fairly quickly. It was also a wonderful opportunity for our kids to be exposed to English. We would be happy to ask her again.

マンションの入り口で迷っていたようで時間を少し過ぎていたので、最初は少し不安でしたが、娘への対応はとても好印象でした。明るくフレンドリーに接してくれ楽しそうに過ごしていました。外国の方のシッターは初めてでしたが今後は定期的に利用します。

We asked her to babysit our two-year-old son and four-year-old daughter.
At first, the children were a little shy, but once they got comfortable, they happily played together in English.
She included role-playing, Lego activities, and even some learning elements such as alphabet games.
At the end, they kept saying, “It was so fun!” and seemed very satisfied.
Although our children attend an international school, they usually don’t speak much English at home unless they are playing together. So we were surprised to see them playing in English the entire time.

This was our first time using her services, but she was very kind and professional, which made us feel comfortable and at ease.
We would definitely like to ask her again.

Jasmine was amazing . She helped me out a lot by taking care my Girls 8years of age and 8 Months, I wasn’t feeling well and she helped care for my girls while I was here In Tokyo for holiday. She helped me while I was shopping by keeping both girls entertained and took my oldest daughter to ice skate and fun activities later in the evening so I can nap and rest. She is truly wonderful.
