はじめまして。米国生まれ、スコットランド育ちのイギリス人です。日本にはもう十年住んでいて、英語も日本語も話せます。

今は育児中で、４歳と６歳の元気いっぱいの男の子がいます。市のファミリー・サポート制度でも活躍中で、赤ちゃんから小学生までのお預かりをしています。英語教師として４年間の経験もあります。東京の英会話学校で働いて、赤ちゃんから中学生まで教えていました。その後、名古屋市の学校（小・中・高）で教えていました。

モンテッソーリ教育から大きな影響を得て、子供と遊ぶ時はモンテッソーリ風アクティビティをよく使います。お絵かき、シール遊び、ごっこ遊び、お菓子作りも大好きです。子供一人ひとりの性格や好みを観察して、一番合いそうな遊び方を選ぶように心がけています。

自分の子供がいるため、可能の時間帯は基本的に9時〜13時半になります。

シッティング開始時刻から逆算して、キャンセル料が発生します。
・シッティング開始時刻の 48 時間前のキャンセル :無料
・シッティング開始時刻の 48 時間〜24 時間前のキャンセル:シッティング料金の 50%
・シッティング開始時刻の 24 時間前のキャンセル:シッティング料金の 100%

🌻On summer break from 18 July to 2 September🌻

I am a mum of 2 boys (aged 4 and 6) and have first-hand experience at raising energetic, creative kids! In addition to my own children, I am registered with my city's Family Support system, and regularly look after babies and school-age children. I also have 4 years of experience teaching English: I taught private English conversation in Tokyo to children from babies through junior high, and then taught in Japanese schools (all levels) in Nagoya.

I have been heavily influenced by Montessori educational philosophies, and love arranging these styles of activities for children. Sensory play, arts and crafts, baking, and pretend play are a few of my favourites. I believe in "following the child": I take time to get to know each child and their preferences, whether baby or pre-teen, and find activities that deeply engage each one.

I was born in North Carolina, USA, grew up mostly in Scotland, and have now lived in Japan for 10 years. I am bilingual in English and Japanese.

I am normally available from 9:00 to 13:30 during term-time, while my own children attend kindergarten and school.

(all timing is calculated based on the start time of the scheduled sitting)
48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee
Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee
Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)
