Dear Families: I actually have the other job 10am-5pm on 5days a week. Considering the difficulties of undertaking babysitting on weekdays even after 6 pm, I changed my availability only on weekends. Thank you.
G'day mate！ My name is Nano:)
I have about 2 year and a half of experience as a teachers aid/baby sitter in Japan and Australia.
In Japan, I was working as a teachers aid and babysitter and I attended Kindy class(0.5-3yo) and Pre-prep class(3-5yo) for about 1 year. And in Australia, I took care of 3 children as an Aupair for 7 months. In addition, I experienced volunteer work at a childcare center in the Gold Coast.
Through my experience in childcare, I have taken care of children aged between 1 to 10.
If under 5yo, I can provide them some basic care, for example: preparing/giving baby formula, changing nappies and toilet training. Furthermore, I can provide engaging phonics lessons carted towards young children, learned as a component of my TECSOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) qualification and the volunteer work I have experienced in.
My host children were 2 boys who were aged 7 and 5, and a little girl who was aged 2.
I mainly took care of the two boys by preparing brekky/lunch, dropping them off and picking them up from their school, helping Math/English homework and playing together. Even though they were pretty busy children for after school activities, I managed to provide piano lessons everyday and practiced a sort of Karate together.(actually it was just like dance move..)
Engaging a child in self-discipline/self-management is one of the most beneficial attribute for a growing child. One practical activity that I found very helpful was a time board which included clock and scheduling(referred to my picture). On this board, the child had to plan and note particular activities according to the appropriate time-frame. It had a profound benefit in fostering independence and action without much input.
In addition, I have been active in the musicals/operas for 6 yrs in Japan and New York.
I found that I can utilise these experiences to help your children to learn.
I believe that I may be useful in tending to your needs.
If you have read this far, then it look forward to be your babysitter!
I look forward to the opportunity of hearing from you and meeting with your wonderful children:)

Nano was very polite and enthusiastic. She was on time, and a good communicator before and after the job. My son had great fun!
Nano was fantastic. Excellent English and was really engaging with my two girls from the first moment. She even wrote a report for us about the evening which was very professional. Highly recommended sitter!
Nano was fantastic with my kids! She played with them, did some painting with them, fed them dinner, got them off to bed on time, and was so easy to work with and communicate with!! I loved that she left us notes and a report of activities and occurrences while we were gone. We will gladly have her back again soon!
Nano was fantastic!
Professional and polite, she went above and beyond. Will definitely be choosing her again!
We hired Nano twice to be our babysitter during our workouts, so that the moms could train while their babies were taken care of. Nano is very reliable, ponctual and has a professional attitude. She is at ease in taking care of several children at the same time and is creative when it comes to entertaining the children.
Nano was very friendly and punctual. She spoke to our children and showed a genuine interest in what they had to say.
We would definitely use her again.
Nano arrived 10 minutes early for the interview, well prepared. She came off very responsible! She has taken CPR from Japanese Fire Department and babysitting courses to prepare herself before going to Australia for an au pair job. With her musical and active personality, she will entertain your children all day!
