Hello!

Thank you for taking the time on learning just a bit about me!

My name is Chelsea and I'm originally from USA. I have lived in Japan for almost a year now and I can truly say I have found the place I am meant to be at. I am married to a very wonderful Japanese man. Currently, I am studying Japanese to add to my current language of English, Portuguese and Spanish. I am the oldest sibling of 8 children - yes, 8! My youngest siblings are twins and are 20 years younger than me. Growing up, I also took on many baby sitting jobs including a family who I have been so lucky to babysit since they were toddlers only to watch them grow up into teenagers - so I have plenty of experience, patience and a kid like charm (when needed) when it comes to children. The ages of children I have looked over have been from newborn up to the age of 15 years old.

Activities I enjoy are arts & crafts, games, mini-dance parties, reading, assisting in homework and making learning fun as well as anything that will help express and broaden the imagination of kids. I love to make sure they are having fun and create happy memories.

In my free time, I also enjoy sight seeing, trying new things and even just going for a simple walk.

(all timing is calculated based on the start time of the scheduled
sitting)

48+ hours before the scheduled sitting: No cancellation fee

Between 48-24 hours: 50% of sitting fee

Within 24 hours: 100% of sitting fee (+ transportation cost if on the way)

経験内容

Working with children for over 10 years I have many experiences with the ages of a newborn to 15 years old.

At 19 years old, I assisted in caring for twin newborns as well as taking on the role of sole carer on nights when needed. Including but not limited to diaper changing, feeding, soothing and simply creating a safe overall environment.

Starting at the age of 14 I began to take care of a baby for a family, helping in every aspect possible, including helping plan birthday parties (as well as keeping the child entertained during the party) - and then her sister who have now become teenage young ladies!

I assisted parents, along with their instruction, with any training that needed to be done such as potty training, reading or simply learning their animals and their sounds. To my best ability, I always helped a child with homework, questions or anything that they needed.
