I am Japanese but was born and raised in Singapore. I went to an international school so I am bilingual in both English and Japanese. I also spent some time in San Diego to study abroad. I studied liberal arts at school with a focus on governance. During my study abroad, I studied political science and gender studies.
I often have opportunities to talk to students from elementary to high school for my part-time job and student organization. I plan game activities for kindergarten to middle school, so I have creativity when it comes to thinking of games and activities that students can do. I hope I have the chance to meet you and your children!
I am also open to both dogs and cats! I love them and have experience living with a dog as I grew up in Singapore.
I teach English to students from Kindergarten to high school. I often take classes with kindergarten who are starting their English skill. I do lessons like reading books and learning vocabulary through games. I also think of activities that I can do with children, including English games. I also used to learn music so I can do several musical things with students. I also have experience taking care of my family friend's child, who is currently 4 years old.
I also have experience running an English summer camp in Fukushima. I planned English games and discussions, as well as singing songs and dancing with middle school students.
Nami was great, our daughter loved playing with her!
Nami is creative and musically inclined. With her experience teaching both English and Japanese to children, she is able to create original games on the fly without using the internet. With her sweet personality, we look forward to Nami working with our CareFinder families.
