Hello everyone, I’m Tanja and I’m an English teacher for children in Hamamatsu. I have a Masters degree in bilingual elementary education and I have been working with children for the past 10 years.
I’m originally from Germany, but I’ve also lived in Canada and America. I’m a very outdoorsy person and I love doing activities like hiking, skiing, scuba diving and climbing. I also enjoy doing crafts and cooking/baking.

I would love to take your kids to the park or play with them outside. I’m also a strong swimmer and can take your kids swimming or on easy walks/hikes in nature around Hamamatsu.
Additionally I enjoy cooking and baking and making food and snacks together with kids. When I worked as nanny I often made cookies and healthy snacks with the kids.
Lastly I like doing arts and crafts. I have lots of experience with easy things like origami or coloring but also more complex crafts like a “maru batsu” game made with painted rocks or a birdhouse made out of popsicle sticks.
