Hello!

I have 6 years of experience teaching Japanese elementary school children, as well as a year of experience as a preschool teacher. I also cared for my four younger sisters as a teenager. My youngest sister was born when I was fifteen, so I helped care for her pretty much as soon as she was born. I also did a little babysitting in university where I made a video game for children as part of my degree in game design.

I was born in Maryland, raised in Maine and am currently raising my own little one right here in Western Tokyo. But don’t worry if you’re not out west, I don’t mind commuting as long as it’s less than 90 minutes one way.

I love to read books to kids of all ages, and I also really love playing board games with older kids. And I enjoy cooking American foods, as well as a few Japanese favorites.
