The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer and it's not yet rainy season (check back here soon for tips on things to do then); it's a great time to be in Tokyo! We've rounded up a few events and activities happening over the next few weeks, with many outdoor options to take advantage of late spring. Check them out!

For the KPop and KBeauty fans at home, the KCon is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in all things Korea (including delicious fried chicken!).

If you're unable to make the flight to beautiful, tropical Okinawa, this is the next best thing! Music, crafts and the traditional eisa dance will be on play display.

Beautiful views, beautiful flowers and tasty food! The shibazakura festival is a great excuse to get outside of the city and enjoy the outdoors.

Art, exhibitions, yoga and more are available in this fun setting - with many shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy as well!

Advance tickets sold out in less than an hour, but part of the experince is the chance to bond while waiting in line for day-of tickets at 7 a.m.!
 
Museum of Modern Art Free Admission Day

The perfect opportunity to check out modern art (for free) and take a stroll around the nearby Imperial Palace grounds.
 
Katshushika Iris Festival
Early-Mid June
More beautiful flowers in Tokyo! Thousands of iris plants are expected to be in bloom, along with live music and other entertainment over the course of the festival.
 
Minakami Outdoor Festival

Really get out there and enjoy the outdoors with this three day festival. Ropes courses, extreme sports and demonstrations are sure to keep you busy (and tire you out)!
